Palestinian Cabinet Minister Saeb Erekat accused Israel of using the slaying of Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze’evi as a pretext for trying to crush the Palestinian Authority. Palestinians officials have appealed to the United States and the European Union for help, Erekat said.
