Palestinian militia leader Marwan Barghouti may be the next Palestinian leader, Israel’s foreign minister predicted. Addressing students Tuesday in Eilat, Shimon Peres said Barghouti would not necessarily be any better from Israel’s perspective than Yasser Arafat has been, Israel Radio reported.
