Palestinian police began training in Egypt to secure the Gaza Strip. Forty-two policemen from Gaza left Thursday for Cairo, where they will undergo six weeks of training. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has vowed to help Palestinian Authority security forces prevent a Hamas takeover of Gaza when Israel withdraws from the territory this summer.
