Palestinian Telegraphic Agency Despatches

The first steamer direct from Odessa to Palestine, since the outbreak of the world war, arrived yesterday with 171 Jewish emigrants on board. Among them were the Zionists expelled from Soviet Russia.

43 emigrants, who had not secured the proper visas, were not permitted to land and will have to return to Russia.

The expelled Zionists have expressed their gratitude to the Palestinian Government and the Zionist Executive for creating for them the possibility of leaving Russia and going to Palestine.
