Palestinian terrorists planted a bomb in the home of a high-ranking Israeli naval officer. Col. Natan Barak awoke in his home in the Tel Aviv suburb of Ra’anana to find beside his bed a fire extinguisher wrapped with wires and attached to a cell phone. The Al Aksa Brigades, a group associated with Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s Fatah Party, claimed responsibility for planting the bomb.
