Palestinian youths in the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank clashed Sunday with Palestinian security forces during protests against detentions and searches carried out as part of efforts to confiscate illegal weapons. The confrontations have occurred several times since the local governor of Nablus launched a campaign two weeks ago to collect illegal weapons.
