A street demonstration has been decided upon to-day at a meeting held by the parents of the 500 Jewish school children who will be deprived of fresh air and sunshine because of the decision of the Warsaw Municipality to discontinue the subsidies to the summer colonies in which the children are maintained.
The meeting of the parents which was held to-day in Warsaw decided to demonstrate before the Municipality and to submit a protest to the Municipality against the withdrawal of the subsidies.
The parents have also considered a suggestion to arrange a children’s demonstration as a protest against the liquidation of the summer colonies in which the poor Jewish school children of Warsaw are being maintained.
