The Pennsylvania State Federation of Y. M. H. A.’s, Y. W. H. A.’s and Jewish Community Centers, affiliated with the National Jewish Welfare Board, will open its 23rd annual convention here today and will continue tomorrow.
The program includes conferences on Unemployment, Lay Leadership, Dramatics and Group Activities. A feature of the convention is a banquet on Sunday evening, which will be addressed by Dr. Mordecai Soltes. Israel Krohn, of Easton, is president of the State Federation, and Dr. Philip R. Goldstein, Campaign Director of the Welfare Board, is the field secretary.
