The Jewish World, 26-year-old Philadelphia Yiddish daily, today suspended publication temporarily because of financial difficulties. Yesterday’s issue, the last to appear, published an announcement that it might be the last edition if aid were not forthcoming. The paper had suspended once before, five years ago, after which it had reappeared as a cooperative enterprise.
