The organization of French Jewish Socialist students has protested against “the inhuman and barbaric” treatment meted out to an Israeli air force pilot murdered by Lebanese and Palestinian civilians after he bailed out from his plane during the recent fighting.
French television showed the pilot’s maltreatment by the crowd and Israel later announced that he died as a result of his wounds.
The Jewish group also called upon the government to close the Palestine Liberation Organization bureau in Paris and expel its representatives.
