Pioneer Women Organization Raises $1,250,000 in Cash for Israel Bond Drive

The Pioneer Women, women’s labor Zionist organization in the United States, today reported that it has raised $1,250,000 in cash for the Israel Bond Drive.

The organization also announced a contest for a play which must not exceed a half-hour’s performance time. Entries may be written in English or Yiddish and are open to women in the United States and Canada. The first prize is a $250 state of Israel bond. Second prize is a $100 Israel bond.
