A gift of $200,000 has been cabled by the Pioneer Women’s Organization of America to the Working Women’s Council in Palestine, the organization announced today. This is the first installment of a quota of $500,000 for the year, adopted at its last national convention.
The Council has launched a program of expansion of its services for newly-arriving woman, youth, and children, from Europe. A new children’s home is now in the process of construction at Kfar Saba, and ground has been broken for three additional homes. The building program is being financed by the Pioneer Women’s Organization building fund.
