Mayor David L. Lawrence of Pittsburgh left aboard an El Al plane for his first visit to Israel where he will observe the economic advances achieved as a result of American investments in Israel bonds. He is scheduled to arrive in Israel on July 18, after visiting other parts of the Middle East and Europe.
