Canadian Hadassah will raise a fund of $50,000 for Zionist activities in Palestine in honor of the sixtieth birthday of Mrs. A. J. Freiman, president of the organization, the organization decided last night at its annual convention in the Royal York Hotel. Mrs. Freiman is ill at her home in Ottawa and was unable to attend the convention.

She was unanimously re-elected president of Canadian Hadassah.

Mrs. Freiman’s annual report was read by her daughter, Mrs. Alexander.
