Poale Zion Raised $300,000 for Palestine Labor

During the past two years the sum of $300,000 was raised to aid Palestine labor institutions by the Poale Zion, Zionist labor wing and its affiliated organizations, according to a report presented at the seventeenth annual convention in session at the Hotel Lafayette here. This sum, it was pointed out by Isaac Hamlin, who presented the report, does not include contributions made to the United Palestine Appeal and the Jewish National Fund. Twenty thousand dollars was raised recently for emergency relief for the Palestine Labor Federation.

The numerical strength of the American Poale Zion is four thousand. The women’s organization has a membership of 2,000. The women’s organization raised $60,000 for the Palestine Women’s Cooperative.
