Violent pogrom agitation is now being conducted by the anti-Semitic press of Vienna on the background of the unsuccessful revolution.
The anti-Semitic journals publish inciting articles in which the Vienna population is urged to “take revenge on the Jews for the bloodshed”. Austrian Jewry is being blamed for the Vienna riots. No action was taken by the State Attorncy to confiscate these journals, notwithstanding the fact that representatives of Jewish organizations have urged the authorities to take measures to prevent the publication of such inciting propaganda. which is extremely dangerous in the present excited atmosphere.
