Poland May Permit Emigration of Jews over 60 Years of Age

Reports reaching here from Warsaw say that Polish authorities will soon permit Polish Jews over 60 years of age who are “unnecessary to Poland’s industries” to leave for Israel.

It was also reported here that M. Albrecht, chairman of the National Council of Warsaw has received the new Israel Minister to Poland, Dr, Leon Kubovy. Matters affecting Jewish emigration from Poland to Israel were discussed at their meeting, it was understood.
