Poland Probing Madagascar’s Immigration Outlook

The Polish Government is sending a delegation to the French colony of Madagascar, off Southeast Africa, to investigate possibilities of Jewish colonization, it was learned here today.

Jewish organizations, asked by the Government to participate in the investigation, are still considering it.

(The French Government recently offered opportunities for Jewish immigration into four of its colonies, including Madagascar, on a limited scale with the proviso that Jewish organizations help finance it.)
