Anatol Muehlstein, Polish Jewish diplomat, formerly Polish Minister to France, will shortly receive the appointment of first Polish Minister to Lithuania, it was unofficially reported today.

Dr. Muehlstein had just returned from a mission to Kaunas, Lithuanian capital, where he succeeded in making peace between his own country and Lithuania after a rupture of relations lasting ten years.

On his return to Warsaw last week he was received by Marshal Pilsudski, Polish dictator, to whom he made his report.

Polish newspapers were warm in their praise of Dr. Muehlstein for his success in restoring normal relations between Poland and Lithuania.

The two countries have been on bad terms ever since Polish troops seized Wilno.
