Police are investigating whether the rape of an Orthodox Jewish woman in New Jersey is linked to attempted kidnappings in Borough Park, an Orthodox neighborhood in New York City. Sunday’s attack on the young woman occurred in Lakewood, a community in southern New Jersey where almost 50 percent of the 65,000 residents are Orthodox.
