Police investigating the killing of an Israeli soldier in Galilee Friday released several Bedouins suspected of murder and are now operating on the theory that the soldier was the victim of a terrorist ambush. He was Lance Corp. Hilel David, 22, of Tel Aviv, who was shot to death following an altercation in which a Bedouin girl was slightly injured. Police thought that Bedouin tribesmen in the area murdered him for revenge. Now they suspect terrorist infiltrators from Lebanon.
