See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

The Palestine police today released one of the two Arabs arrested in connection with the murder of Kalman Shapiro, son of a rabbi, who was assassinated in the streets of Jerusalem while protecting his aunt from a physical attack by two unidentified assailants.

The police detained the second Arab for further investigation.

The failure of the Palestine police to find the murderers of the Jewish youth has provoked a good deal of criticism among the Jews here. In this connection, it is pointed out that two years ago Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff, leading member of the Zionist Executive, was assassinated under similar circumstances, and as yet the police have not succeeded in finding the murderers.

The Zionist Revisionist daily newspaper, Hayarden, has been suspended by the authorities for a month, for criticizing the inactivity of the police in the Shapiro murder case.
