Belgian police are searching for two men believed to be armed with portable rockets and traveling in a stolen car, a French Citroen DS model, carrying false Belgian license plates with the number VD-651, a police spokesman said. It is not known if the men are carrying a Soviet-made SAM-7 missile. Recent press reports here say the police have been looking for several SAM-7 missiles believed to have been brought into Belgium recently. Other reports say, and the government has confirmed, that some western-made ground-to-air missiles have disappeared from a military depot “somewhere in Europe.” The police description of the two men indicates one is a tall, blond “European type,” and the other, a small “Arabic type” with black hair.
