Police Superintendent Cafferatta on the witness stand again in the trial of Sheik Taleb Markah, declared that his original report on the massacre referred to several sheiks as the inciters. Although he did not know their names, he knew that of Taleb Markah. The Police Superintendent is now ready to give the other names. The Court, however, did not permit him to do this.

Adjournment of the Court was necessitated when a Moslem teacher called by the defense, became ill. The teacher testified he saw Taleb trying to pacify the crowd. Questioned by the judge, the witness wavered.
