The Polish city of Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) is undergoing a process of ruthless “Germanization” at the hands of its Nazi rulers, according to information reaching here today.

All Germans in the city are obliged to post their homes with signs reading, “hier wohnt ein Volksdeutscher” (here lives a German).

The entire quarter between Mostowa Street and the Bydgoszcz Palace has been destroyed to make way for buildings “representative” of the National Socialist party. The city’s synagogue was one of the buildings torn down.
