Polish Jewry Pray 3 Days for Rainfall in Warsaw Drought

The persistance of tropical heat and drought here have led the local rabbinate to convoke a special meeting urging the Jewish population to pray for three days that rain fall.

This will be the first time that Polish Jewry will pray for rain in Poland. Hitherto such prayers were usually for rain in Palestine.
