The Polish Nazi organization carries on its activities in Katowice and in Lodz. The yellow-shirted Nazis of Lodz paraded the streets of the city, posted themselves outside Jewish shops and tried to prevent customers from entering. The attempt to emulate their German comrades led to repeated clashes and fights.
In Katowice, where the local Nazis favor purple for shirts (purple and white are included in the Polish national colors) repeated fights occurred, particularly when the purple-shirted Nazi news vendors who sell the Nazi newspaper, Bliskowza, attacked Jewish passersby.
