The Polish Relief Fund announced today collections of L70,000 and an allocation from the British Government of L100,000.
In a report covering activities up to February, the Fund said that L17,000 had been remitted to Rumania in addition to drugs, serums and vaccines valued at L410 and a large amount of clothing. Remittances of varying sizes have also been sent to Lithuania, Hungary and France. Relief grants totalling L2,500 have been made to refugees in England.
