Polish Vessel Sails for Israel with Large Cargo of Grain; Supplies Provided by Jews

The Polish ship “Torun” today sailed from Gydnia with a large transport of food for Israel sent by the Jews of Poland who raised 115,000,000 Zlotys ($230,000) for this purpose.

The food, consisting mostly of grain, was shipped with the permission of the Polish Government, which guaranteed that the cargo would be landed at Tel. Aviv.
