What was first the Hebrew-American Club and later the Hebrew Republican Club today changed the name to the Good Government Club, following intervention by leaders of the local Jewish community.

Rabbi Daniel L. Davis, Dr. Isidore Rosenthal and Alexander T. Stein attended a meeting Wednesday evening and protested that there was no place for a Jewish political club in the community.
