Pope Forbids Catholics to Attend Conference

A desgatch from Rome in the National Catholic Welfare Conference states that the Pope has just issued a most important decree, confirming a previous decree, according to the terms of which all Catholics are expressly forbidden to assist at conferences or reunfirms of whatever kind of non-Catholics whose purpose is to foster as it is customarily expressed, “peace between the churches”.

“The decree of the Holy Office was occassional by the forthcoming conference to be held at Lausanne. Swi## August 3 to 21 under the ## of the World conference on Faith and Onder” the Catholic News Service states.
