More than 600 refugees from Europe, the majority of them Jews, arrived here today on the Portuguese ship Serpa Pinto. They included a number of children whose parents are in Nazi concentration camps. Pierre Dreyfus, son of the famous Capt. Alfred Dreyfus, was one of the passengers. The vessel’s voyage from Lisbon to New York was arranged by the Joint Distribution Committee.
