Colonel Josiah Wedgwood asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in the House of Commons to-day whether he had any information from His Majesty’s Minister at Bucharest as to the antisemitic excesses in Moldavia, near Jassy (reported in the J.T.A. Bulletin of the 19th. inst.), and whether he was aware of the growing danger to this minority in Roumania.

Captain Eden, the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, said that His Majesty’s Minister at Bucharest had been requested to report whether there had been any developments of the nature indicated.
