Pierre Poujade, the leader of France’s fascist party, broke an extended silence yesterday with a sharp attack on “Jews and foreigners.”

Addressing a gathering of a few hundred followers. Poujade assailed “stateless gangs” and “all those Jews and foreigners who ruin Frenchmen and sell our national wealth. ” He promised to “sweep away” the Fifth Republic as had been done with the Fourth.
