Prague’s top Jewish official is poised to access secret police archives on an anti-Jewish operation run by Czechoslovakia’s Communist regime. Tomas Jelinek told JTA he intends to take advantage this summer of a new law allowing the public to scrutinize former secret police files.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
