During solemn Armistice Day ceremonies at Westminster Abbey, the Dean of Westminster interpolated the following prayer: “Let us remember in silence and sympathy the Jewish people in their troubles.” a special prayer for Jews persecuted in Germany was offered up by Bishop of Southwark during special Armistice service at Southwark Cathedral.
