Present and former South African leaders are meeting with Israeli and Palestinian civil leaders to share their experiences of transitioning to democracy. Former President F.W. De Klerk and current Education Minister Kader Asmal are among those who will participate in “Restoring Hope: Building Peace in Divided Societies,” a conference hosted by South Africa’s Human Sciences Research Council.
