President Bush discussed progress in Israeli-Palestinian talks with Egypt’s president. The U.S. president phoned Hosni Mubarak on Tuesday and updated him on U.S. envoy William Burns’ talks in the region, as well as on contacts between the Israeli and Palestinian Authority Cabinets, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said.
