President Bush hinted that other countries besides Afghanistan could face U.S. military action if they continue to give support to terrorists. “Today we focus on Afghanistan, but the battle is broader,” Bush said Sunday, when he announced that U.S. and British forces had begun strikes against Taliban and suspected terrorist targets in Afghanistan. “In this conflict, there is no neutral ground. If any government sponsors the outlaws and killers of innocents, they have become outlaws and murderers themselves.”
