President Bush released $32 million for emergency assistance to the Palestinians. The money Bush released Tuesday evening “for the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs” is part of $40 million that the United States pledged in an emergency fund-raising appeal from the U.N. Relief and Works Agency, the body administering to the needs of Palestinian refugees.
