President Bush says he understands Israel’s concerns about Iran. Bush would not directly answer a question in a news conference Thursday about whether he was concerned that Israel would launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran. Bush said that if he were an Israeli leader, “I’d be concerned about Iran having a nuclear weapon as well.”
