President Bush urged Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat in a telephone call to make a “100 percent” effort to fight terrorism, the White House said. Bush called Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon earlier to urge him to adhere to a cease-fire brokered last week by CIA Director George Tenet.
