President Bush’s national security adviser said world leaders should push for Yasser Arafat to step aside once Israel withdraws from the Gaza Strip. Condoleezza Rice told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in Florida on Monday that foreign states that still speak to the Palestinian Authority president must tell him to step aside to allow for the formation of a Palestinian state.
