President Clinton named a Minneapolis rabbi to serve on the presidential AIDS commission. Joseph Edelheit, who was appointed to the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS, has served as co-chairman of the Reform movement’s national committee on HIV/AIDS and has written on the religious and ethical issues surrounding the disease.
