President Clinton told Iranian American Jews he hopes to see movement toward openness and freedom in their native country. Speaking at a Los Angeles fund- raiser for the Democratic National Committee, Clinton did not discuss the plight of the 13 Iranian Jews who face trial next month on allegations that they spied for Israel and the United States.
