President Jorge Rafael Videla of Argentina, in a Rosh Hashanah greeting to the Jewish community, addressed to Dr. Nehemias Resnizky, president of the DAIA, said, “I wish to express to you, on this occasion, very special wishes of peace and well-being due to this community on this noble Argentine soil which has received it for a long time in its midst. May I renew the assurances of my highest esteem.”
