President Masaryk visited the Churva Synagogue in the Old City yesterday. He was greeted by Chief Rabbi A. J. Kook. Many Jerusalem Jews were present at the short service held on the occasion of the President’s visit.
Replying to the greetings of the Rabbi, Masaryk stated that he always fought for the liberation of the nations and wishes the Jewish nation a free life in Palestine.
