President Kubitschek of Brazil reaffirmed today Brazil’s “open door” policy for refugees and immigrants of all origins.
He made the statement during a special meeting with James P. Rice, executive director of the United Hias Service, and Israel G. Jacobson, Latin American director for Hias. Horacio Lafer, Brazil’s Foreign Minister, was present at the meeting in the Presidential Palace in Brasilia.
