President of Germany Presents 100,000 Marks for Anne Frank House

A check for 100,000 deutsche marks was handed here to the Mayor of Amsterdam, Holland, by Dr. Theodor Heuss, President of the Federal Republic, as West Germany’s contribution toward the construction of the Anne Frank house at Amsterdam. The Anne Frank house is being built on Prinzengraacht, at Amsterdam.
