President Habib Bourguiba of Tunisia declared in an interview with a Lebanese newspaper that “the cancer of this part of the world is Israeli colonialism,” it was reported here today from Tunis. This, he added, was something that “neither the statesman nor the man in the street can ignore.”
There was a need, he said, for the Arab countries adjacent to Israel to provide a base and a place for refuge for Arab commandos. He pointed out that such was the case in Tunis when that country provided sanctuary for Algerians during the underground war against France.
